Summary:

Position Summary:  Responsible for providing support throughout the organization with various financial planning and analysis tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Compile, analyze and report financial data, including periodic (e.g., monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results) and other ad-hoc projects
  • Financial statement review including developing supporting schedules and models
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reporting packages
  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators (KPI) (e.g., revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and operational metrics)
  • Facilitate corporate and departmental budgeting, forecasting, and review
  • Evaluate Company's financial performance compared to competitors, overall industry, and market trends
  • Conduct economic / financial research
  • Assist with ongoing maintenance of company financial forecast
  • Assist in development of internal and external corporate presentations, press releases and other communications
  • Provide support to treasury and banking functions including servicing banking requests, maintaining cashflow model and reports, and management of the Company’s employee credit cards
  • Assist with corporate development activities including M&A and strategy development
  • Performs other related duties as required

Educational and Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience (Accounting or Finance preferred but not required)
  • 1+ years of experience in similar role (energy / oilfield service experience preferred but not required)
  • Ability to use sophisticated computer software programs to achieve job functions
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to shift priorities and multi-task while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of team
  • Ability and willingness to travel is desired
  • Professional working proficiency in English language
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to learn diverse skills in a corporate environment
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment in order to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work diligently with little oversight
  • Ability to recognize sensitive, confidential, or material non-public information and maintain the confidentiality of such information
  • Position will require a minimum of 40 hours per week unless otherwise directed by supervisor
